Visitors to the school (including OFSTED) commented on the quality of reading evidence available through each child’s Reading Journey book (a practice introduced by Ian at the start of 2017), while using various strategies as a year 6 intervention tool saw children who were in danger of not meeting age related expectations, progressing to achieve greater depth.”
