We are VERY excited to announce the details of The Reading Realm Poetry Competition with Neal Zetter!

To win a signed and dedicated copy of Gorilla Ballerina by Neal Zetter:

1. Write a poem about an imaginary animal – one created from your imagination. It can be any sort of creature like a bird, mammal, fish, reptile or insect – you decide!
2. Your poem must be completely new and original, so not based on anyone else’s work.
3. It can be funny or a bit more serious or a mixture of both.
4. It must be between 10 and 20 lines.
5. Poems can be rhyming or non-rhyming or a mix of the two.
6. One entry per child (no adults please!). The poem should be scanned or photographed and emailed by a parent to ian@thereadingrealm.co.uk
   Please state the child’s first name and child’s age.
7. Entries to be emailed by 6pm on Thursday 2^nd April 2020.
8. The winning entry will be announced on The Reading Realm daily show on Friday 3^rd April 2020 at 11am and read out for all viewers to enjoy.
